A fighter jet is at the top of the runway, afterburners glowing, quivering with power waiting to be unleashed. We watch, we listen, we can barely contain our anticipation. This is OUR plane, Tom. We know him well. We live in his world, a world contained in the book series Aeroplane Adventures.
